Arizona Lottery Backyard - It's happening in the Arizona Lottery Backyard - your place for food, fun, & FREE entertainment

United States Armwrestling Championships - Got biceps? The 7th annual United States Armwrestling Championships will be held at the 2010 Arizona State Fair. Any Fairgoer can participate in this free event. Men compete in five different classes from 144 lbs to 220 lbs and up. Two Women’s classes include an Open and Lightweight (144 lbs and under) divisions. Prizes include the potential for earning a national ranking, as well as trophies.

Registration begins at 11:00am
Competition begins at 1:00pm 

Native Spirit Dancers - The Native Spirit Dancers were formed as a way to share native culture and dance with the world. The dancers represent various nations from all across the United States and Canada.

2010 Grandstand Event Schedule

  • Figure 8 Racing
    You get three days of risky, head-to-head racing in the exciting Figure 8 races.
  • High School Rodeo
  • All Indian Rodeo
    Get ready for the most spine-tingling rodeo of the season as the annual All Indian Rodeo thunders into the Grandstand.
  • Demolition Derby
    The last car running wins as daredevil derby drivers ram each other’s vehicles in the Grandstand.

Unkle Kunkle's Farm - Kids, be a farmer for a day! "Milk" a cow, gather eggs, compete in the Junior Rodeo and participate in a make-n-take planting activity -- all to learn more about where your food comes from: the Farm. Located in the Arizona Plaza Building.

Kid Zone Jungle Safari - Time to play in the jungle! Lots of fun and educational activities for kids ages 4-11, including jungle jewelry-making, jungle blocks, a chimpanzee challenge, button-making, and marshmallow golfing.

Kitchen Craft Commercial Exhibit Building - Shop for everything from cookware to collectables offered by the Fair's unique collection of vendors, in the Kitchen Craft Exhibit Building.

Arizona State Fair 5k & Fun Run/Walk

Join us for the second annual 5k & Fun Run/Walk at the State Fair!

Arizona Milk Producers Milk Parlor - Watch and learn how cows are milked…right before your eyes! See it daily in the Cattle Barn.
