Great Make 'N Take Events
Pillowcase Bonanza
Date: October 14, 2008
Time: 3pm – 7pm
Location: South Hall Coliseum
Bring the following and we’ll teach you how to make a great looking pillowcase! You will need three different colors/patterns of fabric.
• Color/Pattern #1: (27”) of fabric for the body of the pillow. Fabric should be 45” in width.
• Color/Pattern #2: (2 ½”) of contrasting fabric.
• Color/Pattern #3: (9”) of fabric for opening edge of pillowcase.
Potato Stamps
Date: October 16, 2008
Time: 3pm – 7pm
Location: Unkle Kunkle’s Farm
We’ll show you how to make your own stamp from a potato. Then use it to personalize your own piece of wrapping paper or greeting card. How creative can you be?
Get Involved
Project Linus
Date: October 25, 2008
Location: Coliseum South Hall
Project Linus is a volunteer program providing homemade blankets and afghans to children in need. Want to get involved? Stop by and meet the representatives who will be onsite throughout the day. Also take time to decorate a block of fabric to be used in one of the quilts.
